How much daylight does this block actually get once you account for the towers next door?
Takes a LiDAR digital surface model, simulates the sun across the day and the seasons, casts shadows and measures the share of daylight each place receives. The Loop and Near North Side come out shadiest; O’Hare and the low-rise periphery, sunniest.
