WellbeingEffect
Did that event, policy or concert actually change how a city felt, or would it have felt that way anyway?
The question
Cities host things and pass things, then claim credit for how people feel afterwards. WellbeingEffect asks whether the effect is real by comparing what happened to what a synthetic control says would have happened.
Collect
Daily passive wellbeing signals, following the Rossouw–Greyling approach to Gross National Happiness measurement, collected continuously for every metro in the study.
Analyze
Each event is evaluated as a natural experiment with the CausalImpact method: a Bayesian structural time-series model forecasts the counterfactual from control metros, and the gap is the effect. Null results are reported as nulls.
Present
Published studies with the full pre- and post-period series, effect sizes and uncertainty, so a reader can judge the evidence rather than the headline.
